Reptile Model - Microlophus albemarlensis

This is a replica of a female Lava Lizard from the Galapogas Islands. It was sculpted in ‘Super Sculpey’ and baked to a hard finish. It is hand painted with acrylic inks, these allowed me to build up in thin washes and work into the scales creating a more natural finish.
